About Us

Our Director

Hello, my name is Kristi Glover and I am the owner of Promise Kids Parents Day Out. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Middle Tenn. State University in Early Childhood Education. I worked in a homeschool program while in college, kept children in my home, worked at a daycare, supervised teachers in a tutoring program, lead in our children’s ministry at church, taught 6 years with Murfreesboro City Schools, while coaching girls’ basketball, and opened Promise Kids in 2012.
I believe all kids deserve to have a safe educational environment to learn and grow in the Lord and academically. We strive to share the love of Jesus Christ every day and to provide a lasting education in each child that comes to us.
My husband and I have 5 children and are so blessed for each one of them. In our spare time we are active in our church, Bethel Community Church, attend sporting events, travel, and spend a lot of time on the field, court or in the gym with our kids. God is number one in our lives because without Him nothing is possible!

Our Story

Our Promise Kids Parents’ Day Out ministry began in the Fall of 2012 with a vision to teach the love of Jesus to His most precious creation: children.

As we began to see an even greater need, we started working on a Preschool program which opened in the fall of 2022. Our Preschool was an immediate success, with classes filling up with excited children ready to learn new skills.

Our mission is to provide a loving, safe, Christian atmosphere for your child to learn and develop through a variety of age-appropriate activities and teachings from the Bible. Our program seeks to enroll a diverse group of students from all faiths and backgrounds.

Our

Educational

Philosophy

Promise Kids Christian Academy firmly believes in a sound education in a safe and loving environment, with Jesus Christ the head and ruler of all things.

We realize our children are young and need to have fun and feel safe. A PDO & Preschool should be a positive and happy experience for all children. The curriculum is designed with age-appropriate lessons and activities that provide opportunities for children to practice self-control, taking turns and sharing.

Learning is accomplished in a variety of ways that are designed to appeal and excite them. Teachers are encouraged to share new ideas and to express their creativity.

All of our teachers have experience working with and teaching children, have professional development training’s throughout the school year, are Christian people who love the Lord and working with children, have passed a criminal background check and are CPR and first aid certified.

Promise Kids constantly strives to be the best experience for your child!

What Our Families are Saying

We Couldn’t Be Happier….
Our son Elliott, now 2, attended Promise Kids all last year and over the summer and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! I originally chose this program because I actually worked for Kristi several years ago after graduating college and fully trusted both her and her staff in caring for my child. Sending my first baby off to “school” was tough, but the staff at Promise Kids made it so easy! If he cried when I dropped him off (which rarely happened), they would always send me a picture of him happy and playing an hour later, reassuring me he was doing great. His teacher, Mrs. Nancy, went above and beyond making each child feel valued and loved and Elliott asked every morning if “we go to Nay-Nay house today?” (His term for school all last year was “NayNay house”) If I ever have any questions, the entire team, Kristi included, is so quick to take the time to talk me through anything I need. Making me feel like my family is so important, even though I know they have so many families they care for. I recommend Promise Kids to all my friends who are looking for a Parents Day Out program! – Kirby Dudley
